An intelligent housing that saves until 30 energy percent

They design a home that allows to regulate the light, the blinds or to detect an escape of gas without spending more

A housing can be endowed with the last technology and not to spend hence. In fact, thanks to the last digital advances, a home can reduce its energy consumption between a 25 and 30 percent. It proves of it is it the Center Demonstrator of the Digital Home built by the cross-sectorial Association of Companies of Technologies of the Information, Electronic (Asimelec) Communication, and that this week he/she has shown up in Madrid.
The prototype allows to create a welcoming, sure and efficient housing energetically that, besides being domótica, it is digital, since bill with a residential gangplank that connects all the domestic nets to each other and it allows the control of the housing (their alarms, the videotapes and the devices) from the exterior, well be via motive or via internet. The housing is efficient energetically thanks to passive measures, as the design, and you activate that go from the optimized use of the teams until its monitored control.

For example, "the digital home allows the future tenant to control the illumination and the air conditioning, to regulate the awnings and the blinds, as well as the watering", José explains to Miguel Solán, director of Innovation of Schneider Electric that has collaborated in his design and construction, endowing him/her of own technology.

In the case of the blinds, their home automation, like Solán specifies, he/she "makes that the housing takes advantage of the natural light and for ende it consummates less energy, and to brake, on the other hand, the solar radiation to reduce the air conditioning" expense. "Also proceeds, the illumination of the home is also regulated when detecting the presence of somebody, so if you enter in a room this he/she lights and vice versa."
The air conditioning and the control of temperature in turn are possible when activating or to disable the heating and the refrigeration if there is or non people in the home, as well as at distance, by means of the motive or internet.
And if while in the living room the technology is dedicated to the leisure and the entertainment, in the bathroom, a system regulates the temperature of the water according to its use. In the case of the shower, for example, there is a control system for person, so it leaves the water to the suitable temperature without wasting resources hídricos.
All these measures allow the one mentioned "saving of 30 energy" percent, he/she says. "A percentage that is increased by 50 percent or more thanks to systems of geothermal and solar" energy, Valentine assures Fernández, the demonstrator's technical director and member of the Commission cross-sectorial of the Digital Home of Asimelec.
Regarding the security, the digital housing has technical alarms that allow to detect possible fires, escapes of gas or of water. It also has an access control, videotape porter and videotape surveillance that allow to see who calls to the door from television.
All these measures transform a normal housing into a digital house starting from 1.500 or 3.000 euros, according to the experts. "An overexpenditure that is redeemed to the four years", Fernández highlights.
