The Catalan Institute of Energy earmarked 14 million euros to hire ESEs
The Generalitat of Catalonia announced yesterday that earmarked 14 million euros from the Institute of Energy Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDEA) to hiring an Energy Service Companies. According to the statement issued by the Catalan Institute of Energy (ICAEN), the measure seeks to "rationalize energy expenditure in Catalan and local government and consolidate the figure of the energy service companies."
The Government of Catalonia has authorized the ICAEN to sign a cooperation agreement with the IDEA for Catalonia allocate 14.2 million for the Plan to Enhance Energy Services Procurement.
