Transport

Transport is the highest energy consuming sector in Spain, reaching 36,2% of the national total. The tourism vehicle represents approximately 15% of the mentioned total.

This consumption and the important associated greenhouse gas emissions, make it necessary to introduce energy saving measures by means of taking a stand for:

1. efficiency and innovation
2. new models of transport and
3. changes in citizenship habits

The replacement of our vehicle fleet for more efficient and less contaminating vehicles, and diversification of fuels, are one of the key factors when contributing to reducing the effects of transport on the environment.

On the other hand, it is indispensable to work on the introduction of sustainable mobility, like favouring public transport networks and efficient regulation of traffic in cities.
